٭ This is a wool petite point and needlepoint combo done in the early 19th century. This hand made tapestry depicts a beautiful, elegant strutting rooster surrounded with a detailed scrolled floral design. The background is a pale moss green and the surrounding velvet of the frame is a deep moss green. The English trimming is of hand made tassels in various shades of matching greens.
