Late 19th C Full Flowers on Ochre French Aubusson

This is an authentic 19th century Aubusson from France - how I hate to defend my *real* antiques against the fake ones from China. It is a wool backgraound with silk and wool floers woven into the design. As usual, with the Aubusson, beautiful in it's design and color and execution. It is framed with a silk velvet in a soft gray-green and an antique metallic ribbon. The finishing touch is the hand made English tassle trim in matching pinks. The back is made of a striped and floral creme/green damask with a zipper in the lower back The fully stufed pillow is made of 30/70 down/feather combo.
