٭ French Needlepoint from Aesop's Fables

٭ This is a French needlepoint and petit point depicting the famous Aesop's Fables. In this one the fox is watching the bird in the stylized tree. Please note the bird ont he ground playing with an insect. The surrounding ribbon is an antique metallic one and the vlevet is a high quality. The framing tassle trim is hand made in England and the back is a taupe and gray damask with a zipper in the lower bottom. The pillow is a 30/70 combo of down/feather.
