Antique Needlepoint of Aesop's Fables - Swimming Doggie

This is one of several all original needlepoints and petit points from France based on the famous Aesop's Fables. This beauty made about 60 years ago has a Labador swimming after four ducks and a stylized embankment with floral designs. It is framed in a metallic antique ribbon and a high quality matching velvet. The pillow is framed with a hand tied English fringe and the back is a taupe/gray damask design. The insert pillow is 30/70 combo of down/feather and the zipper is in the lower back.
