Feb 13, 2005. "The Gates" - this is Central Park, New York on the
opening day of the Christo Gates installation. Here we are on a hill
overlooking the boathouse close to Fifth Avenue at about 72nd Street. I have
to admit that I was underwhelmed by what I saw on the day, but after I put
this 8 image mosaic together I felt it was a little more interesting.
The field of view is about 100° by 65°, and this extra wide view works better that the naked eye, IMHO. |
